Employees' levels of workaholism, work stress, job satisfaction, and physical health were investigated. Additionally, self-efficacy and mindfulness were tested as moderators to the hypothesized intervention-health outcome relationship. Results indicated a significant decrease in fast food consumption following an intervention for the entire sample. When comparing treatment groups, no differences in the hypothesized direction were found on all health outcome variables. Self-efficacy and mindfulness did not moderate the hypothesized relationship. Additional results included an increase in alcohol consumption in the experimental group, relationships between self-efficacy and work stress, fast food consumption, and exercise frequency, and a relationship between mindfulness and work stress.
