Health educators were identified as a group that has the ability to further educate pre- and post-natal mothers. There were several strategies used to engage health educators and stakeholders in Pitt County and surrounding counties. Formal and informal education sessions proved to be a viable method for dissemination of information. However, engaging a large group of health educators was unsuccessful. Dissemination of information is a complex science that has no specific guidelines. Further is needed to better understand how to engage groups for successful dissemination of population health information.eneducators, prenatal, postnatal, Early check, dissemination, health initiative, outreach, collaboration, interdisciplinaryEarly Check Study Uptake and Educating the EducatorDNP Scholarly Project
