Additionally, an attempt was made to classify recreation activities across the psychographic continuum as either Dependable (Psychocentric) or Venturer (Allocentric) activities, in accordance with respondent scores from Plog's adapted psychographic instrument. The results indicated an overlap between respondent psychographic scores and their projected vacation recreation activity preferences.
