The thesis will examine how these ideas are incorporated and evidenced in my sculpture. In this way the writing will seek to avoid getting bogged down in scientific theory and practice. The aforementioned topics will serve as a basis for the argument that is at the core of the work. This report describes the body of work as metaphoric representations of a variety of scientific practices and their effect on the human psyche. 38 p.dissertations, academicen-USPhilosophy of scienceHuman figure in artFigure sculpture--21st centuryThe Sum of the PartsMaster's Thesis
