This repository contains the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data collected during a hydraulic fracturing experiment in South Carolina. The researchers designed the shallow hydraulic fracturing experiment using steel shot as proppant and imaged the ground conditions before and after the fracture was induced. The details of the experiment design, data collection, analysis, and results were published in the Geophysical Research Letters Journal as a scientific article. In addition to the GPR data collected before and after the fracturing event, this repository also contains computer scripts developed by Mine Dogan, PhD. These scripts can be used for automated picking of the reflectors in both data sets and to recreate the figures presented in the article mentioned above.
