Abstract
Sexual assault is an all-to-prevalent phenomenon on college campuses and in surrounding areas. This paper follows the process of honors college students examining protective and informative measures to be implemented on and around East Carolina University's campus to mitigate the incidence and effects of sexual assault. The students examined a multitude of avenues throughout the duration of the project, ultimately to be faced with a pandemic, bringing the project to a halt. After describing the strategies used to implement protective measures, the paper describes the effect of the pandemic on the project and includes a reflection of the honors college process from the students.
