Genre Immersion

Abstract

My senior year, I chose to focus on character design, as I wish to go into visual development when I graduate from school. I delved into five different genres: Slasher, Fantasy, Mystery, Western, and Sci-Fi. For each genre, I will be doing research and creating a character with all that information in mind.

My designs will be presented in the form of an animation reminiscent of a video game, specifically the character select screen. In doing so, I will be able to show my skills in character design as well as Adobe After Effects.
