As a social work major, it is very important for me to learn the nine core competencies of social work to carry into my career. My internship at Greene Lamp in Kinston is the opportunity to show what I have learned during my degree. It is a culmination of all my skills into actual practice. Part of this project will address how my internship has let me meet these competencies. It will also address how I have filled different roles as a social worker and how the other staff as Greene Lamp have helped me develop as a professional.
