Collaboration with faith-based leaders may have the potential to impact dissemination of population health initiatives. Strategies to engage faith leaders were implemented in an effort to improve dissemination of expanded newborn screening opportunities in NC. The inability to engage faith leaders was an unanticipated outcome and further validates the need for expanded research into the best approach to disseminate population health initiatives. The purpose of this project was to collaborate with faith leaders in Pitt County to disseminate the availability of this health initiative.en_US
