Abstract
Despite the importance of preceptors in aiding students during role transitions, limited research exists on the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) preceptor to support a symbiotic relationship with the CNS student. The aim of this study was to explore the characteristics of the ideal CNS preceptor.
