| dc.description.abstract | This quality improvement project evaluated the impact of a patient safety-focused virtual simulation (vSIM) on prelicensure nursing students' self-confidence and perceived competence in preventing falls and pressure injuries. Findings demonstrated that virtual simulation improved students' confidence, clinical judgment, and ability to apply evidence-based interventions while providing a standardized learning experience. The results support integrating virtual simulation throughout nursing curricula to enhance practice readiness and promote safe, high-quality patient care. | |
