Abstract
Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is a disorder characterized by progressive memory loss, perceptive inaccuracies, and other issues with neurocognitive function (Khan et al., 2020). Different genetic issues and pathways in the brain may have a connection with AD. These include: Mutations in presenilin genes, hyperphosphorylated tau proteins, mutations in β-amyloid precursor protein and the accumulations of amyloid beta (Aβ) (Khan et al., 2020; Holtzman et al., 2011). Exploring these deficits may answer further questions surrounding AD.
