Abstract

With the advent of the Internet, more resources can be found online that can be provided for student use. This paper will examine the use Open Education Resources or OERs to reduce the cost of attendance for medical and nursing school. No longer are students, faculty and librarians linked to traditional print resources. Now, college and university staff and students can leverage the power of the Internet to reduce student costs for materials and provide the necessary resources for good outcomes in the classroom anywhere in the world.
