Abstract
This study examined the perceptions of high school history teachers on outdoor experiences in education. It used a written interview format to ascertain teachers’ perceptions on the benefit students would have from outdoor educational experiences and their perceptions on the practicality of outdoor experiences. Questions were designed to address perceived benefits, challenges, and effects on student engagement.
