dc.description.abstract | These slides were created for presentation as part of Brody School of Medicine's 2025 Women's Health Conference. The theme of the event was 'healthspan vs lifespan.' Menopause is a time in a woman's life characterized by a key metabolic change that can impact health outcomes. These slides focus on two health conditions, menopause-associated obesity and osteoporosis, and present information on the evidence-based nutrition recommendations for managing these conditions in the aging female. | |
