Abstract
This newspaper column written by Ashley Strickland RDN, CDN, CNSC explains how and why a person being admitted to the hospital may be screened for malnutrition or hidden nutrition and how it is managed at ECU Health. This includes assessment by the registered dietitian nutritionist and if found food insecure a voucher for emergency food at the medical food pantry.
