Grocery Store Tour For Teens, 2023 Pitt County North Carolina

Abstract

This is an adaptation of the Grocery Store Tour Cooking Matters At the Store for Adults developed by Share Our Strength. This document includes the review of literature of grocery store tours for teens and selected materials identifed for that purpose. The 1 1/2 hour tour oultined in this document was requested by the Pitt County 4-H agent to include in an "Adulting 101 camp" for teens. The document includes tour stops and key talking points, a description of the $15 challenge to purchase items needed for healthy trail mix and smoothies. Pre and post evaluation of the half day experience and photos are included.
