Crickets In The Wall is a personal journey back in time to some of my earliest memories of being different. The story starts with the pivotal moment of realizing my ways of thinking and working could be accepted and appreciated by my community in art school and goes all the way back to being four years old in preschool. I explore these moments, feelings, and thoughts through process, material, surface, form, and firing methods. Each detail of making is tied back to a part of the story.
