Description | Research suggests that there is a need for treatments for school-age youth with ASD who are at-risk for anxiety Likewise, there is evidence that CBT may be effective with this group of students. Because ASD is a social communication disorder, anxiety symptoms are likely to emerge more frequently for students with ASD, given the social demands of the school climate. This study is part of a larger project aimed at examining the effectiveness of small-group MATCH-ADTC sessions as an anxiety-related treatment for school-age students with high-functioning ASD. | |
